My first “outfit” post. I have received quite a few e-mails as of late asking about where certain pieces of clothing came from and if I was ever going to feature my own looks on here. Since I always love to hear from my readers – especially about blog ideas – I thought I would give it a try. Let me know what you all think. I wore this to work last Tuesday. I’m in love with these jeans from Madewell. They’re a great wideleg cut – not too wide, but just enough flare to give you that ’70s feel. They’re a “baby step” to the serious wideleg. I wear these bangles all the time. They’re a collection that has grown over time, and I’ll just keep adding to it!
Hooray! The official start of fall isn’t until Thursday, but Shopbop is already celebrating with their annual Fall Kickoff sale! There’s so many great fall wardrobe pieces on sale here that will carry you through the season – including this Robbi & Nikki Draped Twill Jacket that I love! Start shopping the sale right here!
When it comes to my handbags, function is key. My everyday bag needs to be functional enough to carry around all my daily necessities in an organized manner (I hate it when my bag turns into a black hole full of stuff), but still be chic. The DVF Harper Connect Daybag is the answer! The designers over at DVF have added a special built-in compartment just for the iPad to the already gorgeous bag. This way you can tote your iPad (I never leave home without mine) along with the rest of your belongings in one simple, chic bag. No need for a separate iPad case now! Brilliant ida, right? If you’re looking to invest in a new bag this fall, this is a great option! Shop it here!
That’s how I feel whenever I come across jewelry from the Fenton line, and I’m feeling it even more looking at the candy-colored Spring 2012 collection. Inspired by Miami’s Art Deco buildings, the Spring collection combines pastel hues and strong geometric shapes – in other words, these are the ultimate statement-making baubles. I am always so amazed at the way Lorenz mixes her materials; there’s always so many different elements happening in one single piece, yet somehow it just works. In this case, she’s paired turquoise and coral stones, and touches of pearls and gold plated crystals with silk threads on her signature twisted chains. Every single piece is a work of art! We’ll have to wait six months to see these lovelies in person, but in the meantime shop the lower-priced line (Fallon) right here!
