COLOR MOMENT: CORAL CRAZE

There’s nothing like a little (or a lot) of coral to punch up your summer weekend! Not only is it one of my favorite colors when it comes to beauty (I wear Revlon’s Blase Apricot lipstick year-round), but I’m crazy about it in my wardrobe as well. Being that it’s another shade of pink, it’s no surprise that I love coral so much!


SNEAK PEEK: MISSONI FOR TARGET

It’s almost here! Mark your calendars for September 13th, the launch of Missoni‘s long-awaited collaboration with Target. “Our collection for Target embodies Missoni’s values of family, color and quality,” said creative director Angela Missoni. The line features 400+ items which makes this the most substantial Target-couture designer partnership to date. Target plans to offer apparel, home goods, dinnerware, stationary and makeup. Styles will be branded with Missoni’s trademark zigzags and loud printed florals and average around $40. If you’re looking to Missoni-out your wardrobe, home, life, go wild!

SUMMER READING VIA TORY BURCH

Can you believe that it’s already the last week of July? Where did the summer go? It’s been quite some time since I posted my summer reading list, so here’s a little update on where I am with that. So far, I have finished: Something Borrowed, Something Blue, and The Help. (They’re all really great reads, by the way. The Help was definitely my favorite so far, and I can’t wait to see the movie next month!) I’ve diverted a bit from the original list, and I am currently reading The Island by Elin Hilderbrand. Have any of you all read it? I’m only about 100 pages in but I like it so far. It seems like an easy, entertaining summer read. I have a feeling that this little list might turn into more of a “summer/fall” list as I really don’t think I’ll have all of these checked off by the end of August. Especially after browsing the summer reading list on the Tory Burch blog today. There are so many great books mentioned that I want to read now! If you’re looking to get started on a new book but aren’t sure where to start, be sure to check out this list, which includes book favorites from over 25 “tastemakers,” including Allegra Hicks, Narciso Rodriguez, Hanneli Mustaparta, and Anna Dello Russo.

ON MY WISH LIST: LULU FROST CODE RINGS

I know, I know. These Lulu Frost Code Rings have been all over the blogosphere lately, and most of you have probably seen enough of them already. I’m seriously in love with them though, so I had to post! I really can’t get enough of these. I love how delicate they are, yet at the same time the number makes a statement. What number (or numbers… you could wear multiple rings!) would you choose? I would opt for either the “5″, a lucky number of mine, or the “8″ as that has special significance as well. Or both!  It’s really a shame that I don’t have a birthday or Christmas holiday coming up soon as one of these would certainly be at the top of my list. 

LACE IT UP

After attending six weddings this summer, I’ve seen my fair share of white lace. But brides aren’t the only ones donning the feminine, romantic material. Spotted on celebrities and street style stars alike, white lace has become a super versatile material that can be worn every day. Lace dresses really are a year-round piece: wear it in the summer with an open toe wedge; and for winter, pair the sheath with a opaque tights and some booties. I really love the way that Harper’s Bazaar editor Joanna Hillman topped off her winter lace look with a leather jacket. It give an otherwise girly look just the right amount of edge. If you’re not feeling the white, there’s plenty of great colored lace options out there (check out this Lilly Pulitzer light yellow number).
