That’s why the fashionista has just released her 4th style book, Nina Garcia’s Look Book: What to Wear to Every Occasion. In this style guide Garcia answers all of our “what to wear when” fashion questions: job interview, wedding, first date – Garcia covers it all right here. The whimsical illustrations by Ruben Toledo are reason enough to pick up a copy. It’s certainly a must-read for all style lovers – not to mention it would make a great gift!
Leave it to Smythson to turn the latest tech gadget into an uber-chic accessory. I don’t have an iPad yet (I’m still toting around the Kindle) but after spotting these Smythson iPad cases on Vogue.com, I’m certain that I need the latest Apple device and I need one of these to cover it. I adore both of the colors – especially the fuchsia! While the case isn’t exactly wallet friendly (but neither is the iPad), you can be sure that this leather good will last you for years to come. The City‘s Olivia Palermo may be known for her drama-causing antics on the show, but love her or hate her, this girl has style. Olivia never fails to deliver impeccable style statements with her head-to-toe looks. She has an amazing knack for combining various patterns and textures, and she has mastered the art of combining designer pieces with lower-priced items. Everyone seems to be putting OP in the fashion spotlight: Who What Wear featured Olivia last week on their monthly “Style Spotlight”, and check out the trendsetter on the cover of the latest ASOS magazine.

Channeling Keira Knightly, Alessandra Ambrosio has surfaced as the face of Moschino’s Autumn/Winter 2010/11 pirate-themed ad campaign. Moschino creative director, Rossella Jardini, said: “I have chosen Alessandra as model for the Moschino campaign as her Mediterranean style, mixed with her natural way of being chic, fits perfectly with Moschino.” The accessories Alessandra’s wearing stand out as very inventive and complete the outfit– not surprising as Japanese Vogue’s inimitable Anna Dello Russo styled the ads. I’m not sure how the ad campaign will translate, but it defintely captures attention.

Taschen Books has published the ultimate fashion read: Kate Moss by Mario Testino. The limited edition book gives us a look at the creative collaboration between one of fashion’s greatest photographers, Mario Testino, and his longtime muse Kate Moss. The book includes photos from Kate’s earliest modeling days to some of her most recent editorials – not to mention, we’ll also see many never before seen photographs that were taken from Testino’s private collection. But like I said, the book is limited edition (only 1,500 copies will be published), so in order to get your hands on one of these you better pre-order ASAP.
