Red Carpet: Met Gala 2010

Fashion’s finest came out last night for The Met’s annual Costume Institute Gala. This year’s fete centered around the Museum’s newest exhibit, American Women: Fashioning a National Identity, and was sponsored by Gap (can’t get more American than the Gap). Though I thought this year’s Gala attendees played it safer than in years past, there were still plenty of stunning looks that graced the red carpet. Here are some of my favorites:
